Victorian Indigenous State-wide Homelessness Network (VISHN) is a collective of Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations and ally organisations working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people that are dedicated to reducing homelessness amongst Indigenous people residing in Victoria.
We use our platform to share and discuss the real issues at the core of Indigenous Homelessness and provide advocacy at a government level for ongoing sector reform to ensure best practice and positive outcomes for clients and their families.
VISHN has been working to create a space for services to share new initiatives and programs they are developing to promote access in the sector and to better support families, the elderly, disabled people and those with disadvantages to link in with the appropriate supports.
By delivering quality support services VISHN aims to identify and develop strategies to tackle homelessness and the factors that contribute to it.

Mission Statement
The Victorian Indigenous State-Wide Homelessness Network was created to bring together workers from Aboriginal community Controlled Organisations and ally organisations working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities with Housing, Homelessness and Family Violence. Our goal is to forge strong connections and to provide advocacy for ongoing issues in order to enhance communities’ quality of life.
